1) PAY ATTENTION. Just because you didn't notice it doesn't mean that you're still not dead.*

2) EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. It will probably happen.

3) BE PREPARED. If you think that you might need it, bring it.

4) KILLING IS NOT ALWAYS THE ANSWER. Most encounters can be solved without bloodshed, and that can prove beneficial to the party.

5) REMEMBER YOUR ALIGNMENT. Your character's alignment helps determine his beliefs. Thus, a character will act accordingly. Everybody says that they are Lawfull Good, but few ever act it.

6) BE INVOLVED IN YOUR PARTY''S DECISIONS. Every PC is a member. Those who don't let their voices be heard can't whine when something they don't like happens.

7) HELP OUT YOUR PARTY. They may just save your life. Try not to argue with fellow PC's.

8) ALL ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES. Consider them, and remember them.

9) THE DM JUST DOESN'T HAND OUT XP POINTS. You will have to earn them.
